Daniel Schwarzkopf [MSc] is a psychologist with specialization in organizational and work psychology. He is a research associate in the German Quality Network Sepsis, a project of the Center for Sepsis Control and Care at the University Hospital Jena. During the past five years he has been involved in the MEDUSA study (Medical Education for Sepsis Source Control and Antibiotics), a cluster-randomized trial aiming at decreasing sepsis-related mortality in over 40 involved hospitals by using methods of change management. His expertise is in quantitative and qualitative social scientific methods, work-environment, collaboration and job stress and in healthcare teams, and risk adjusted comparison of healthcare outcomes.
