James Jackson

Dr. James C Jackson is a clinical psychologist and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee.  He is the Co-Founder and Director of Psychological Services at the Vanderbilt ICU Recovery Center, an award-winning interdisciplinary clinic founded in 2012 and dedicated to the cognitive, physical, and mental health needs of survivors of intensive care, including survivors of sepsis.  An NIH and Department of Veteran's Affairs funded investigator, Dr. Jackson is the lead psychologist for the ICU Delirium and Cognitive Impairment Study Group, an interdisciplinary team of investigators dedicated to understanding and seeking to improve outcomes for those with Post-Intensive Care Syndrome (PICS).
