Pauline Paterson

Pauline is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), UK, and is Co-Director of The Vaccine Confidence Project. Pauline has been researching issues of public confidence in immunizations since 2010, co-leading a recent study in England exploring parents of young children’s experiences of childhood vaccination during the pandemic and their COVID-19 vaccine acceptance.

Pauline is a member of the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Health Protection Research Unit in Immunization and has an honorary academic contract with Public Health England. She has a Ph.D. in Epidemiology, MBA, and MSc from Imperial College London.
