Angela Caswell

Angela is a Professor of Healthcare Studies and currently serves as Associate Executive Director of Nursing at King Abdulaziz Children’s Hospital, as well as Interim Director for Women’s Health. She brings over 46 years of experience across clinical practice, teaching, and research within leading healthcare organizations in the UK, the United States, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Angela holds a Doctorate in Science (Nursing) and has undertaken extensive professional training in areas including disaster management, safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults (DOLS), and drug and substance misuse, where she has also served as a program lead. She is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with an MSc in Education and a BSc (Hons), alongside specialized training in pediatrics and special needs care.

Throughout her career, Angela has commissioned five hospitals across the UK and KSA and is currently finalizing a book on hospital commissioning phases. She has led multidisciplinary teams to achieve WHO and UNICEF Baby-Friendly Hospital accreditation, with additional Child Kind accreditation milestones expected in 2025 and 2026. Angela has authored 36 publications, contributing significantly to the international healthcare community.
