Chiara Medici

Chiara graduated in Biology, specialising in Microbiology and Virology, from the University of Pisa in 2017.

She is a committed microbiologist and virologist. Her studies have involved her in residency projects in Paris and Dubai. Subsequently, she has gained experience in maternal- fetal and infantile infections, in particular during her three years at the renowned paediatric Giannina Gaslini Institute in Genoa, Italy.

She is currently a resident microbiologist, also working in the virology unit, focusing on DNA research, at the St. Andrea Hospital in La Spezia. She has a particular interest in antibiotic resistance and clinical case studies.
