Daniela Filipescu

Daniela is a cardiac anesthesiologist, Professor of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine at the Carol Davila University of Medicine, and Medical Director of the Emergency Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases in Bucharest. She is currently chair of the European Sepsis Alliance, was President of the European Society of Anaesthesiology (ESA)(2014-2015) and was awarded the Lifetime Honorary Membership of the ESA in 2017. She is European Council representative and Board member of the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA). Her H-index on Google scholar is 26.
