Sabina Abou Malham

Sabina holds a Ph.D. in public health, and health care management (Université de Montréal). She is an assistant professor at the School of Nursing of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the University of Sherbrooke and a researcher at the Institut Universitaire de première ligne en santé et services sociaux and an associate researcher at the Charles Lemoyne Research Centre. She has expertise in the development and analysis of organizational innovations aiming to improve access to primary health care services and to change the role of health human resources (family physicians, midwives, and nurses in particular). Her research also focuses on the development, implementation, analysis, and evaluation of reproductive and maternal health interventions (family planning, self-care interventions, etc.) in a global health context. She is an expert member in sexual and reproductive health services at the Centre Interdisciplinaire de développement international en santé (CIDIS) at the University of Sherbrooke.
