Mirfin Mpundu

Mirfin is the Director of ReAct Africa and a member of ReActs Global leadership team. He provides countries with technical assistance on National Action Plans development and implementation including regional bodies and works closely with the Tripartite organizations and Regional Economic Communities.

His expertise of over 20 years includes pharmaceutical supply chain management, infectious diseases, and antimicrobial resistance, global health security, global One Health, international health policy, and diplomacy. He is always on the look for new partnerships and collaborations and works hard to get antimicrobial resistance on the global and African agenda.

He sits on several boards including the Surveillance and Epidemiology of Drug-Resistant Infections Consortium (SEDRIC) Board, he is a Co Co-chair of the External Advisory Board of the Newton AMR Drug Discovery Programme and an honorary fellow at the University of KwaZulu Natal in South Africa among others.
