Holger Rohde

Holger is a Medical Microbiologist. He holds a professorship in Molecular Microbiology at the Institute for Medical Microbiology, Virology, and Hygiene at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. His group is interested in the molecular pathogenesis of foreign material-associated infections, the clinical validation of novel technologies for the detection and characterization of bacterial pathogens, and the analysis of effects on antibiotic usage gained by the implementation of rapid methods for pathogen detection.
